TAGJUP

Barusan terima kabar dr kolega kalau surat laporan gw ke dekan yg dikirim minggu lalu dah sampai. Tp amplopnya kosong Dan bungkusnya robek!!!! Unbelievable... Paket itu cuma berisi 5 lembar surat dlm 1 folder, apa kira2 alasan hilangnya coba? Rasanya ngga ada yg berbahaya & mencurigakan...

Pfffhhh! Kalau niatnya buruk begitu, namanya apa coba ya...

Gw pake DHL dgn asumsi standarnya tinggi, worldwide known, reliable pdh muahalll! Padahal kalo dilihat tracknya wuiiiiiih puanjangnya tuh perjalanan si amplop kosong... *dah tau kosong kok ya dikirim?#@&
Bener2 ngga habis pikirrr

Sabaaar...Sabaaar....sabaaaar....

IMPULSIF

Gw kalo lg esmosi bawaannya pengen hajar bleh. Pernah sekalinya ngomel, tersalurkan ke fb. Padahal yg pengen diomelin ngga punya fb *mm, siapa yg pinter ya?
Anyway, lupa kalau ada bos2 yg berfb ria. Iya loh, bos2 gw walaupun dah las professoras ngga gaptek, malah jago2 gadget. Walhasil, beliau ngga komen apa2 sih, cuma ngeklik tombol jempol. Cuma jadi ngga enak, secara gw lg ngomong ngalor ngidul.
Pelajaran: kalo ngomel cari tempat tertutup ajaah.

Oya, liburan akhir tahun officially dah mulai.

Last thing is a very strange thing: dah 2x ini bawa anak2 ke dokter gigi *menerima sindiran suami dan kolega: lo ngapain aja Peet??? Ah, gw memang ibu yg masih harus belajar banyak :(

It's not easy to say that we're home

Home is where you want to come after long day of work on the road. Home is the place where you can feel safe, secure and even better pampered. Home is the place where we'll be taken care.
Honestly, this country that we live now is pretty, with such a nice weather and beautiful people. But I think it's not easy to call this place our home. The feel of uncertainty and insecurity really bothering me. Every time my husband has to go abroad for work I always become cranky like a baby unfed. I'm striked by that fact, but lately I realize that I just don't feel safe here.

I don't know how people here handle this situation, but seeing them become more and more apathy and ignorance, maybe that's how they adjust to the situation. I'm amazed that the government can expropriate any businesses or factories or houses or lands  just like that. How can you feel secure of your self then? Not to mention that the inflation going high and high every time.

Due to the torrential rain that causing lots of death and homeless people, the school is closed since last week. I understand the need of decreasing traffic and density of people on the street in case of emergency to reach certain area, for that's why the school is closed. My deep condolences also goes to those who directly affected by the landslides and flood. But instructed them to go to hotels and empty apartments nearby and just use it, it's not a wise thing to do. What kind of mentality that we teach to them? Using school for temporary shelter is understandable, but closing school up to next year and sacrifice national education is not a the best option. There are churches, mosques or temples that can provide as shelters, besides gigantic baseball stadiums, as well as malls. Why choose schools and sacrifice our kids education, our future? And why in this kind of situation, still the 'rich' is blamed of being rich and 'selfish', meanwhile they are who now trying to collect donations, and in the other hand being so worried of their properties or bussiness that can be taken by government anytime?

I do blame those, rich or poor, who's not care and insensitive, eg. enjoying some musical concerts while on the other part of the country some people are struggling with basic needs and cleaning up their home from mud and dirt believe me there are some people who did that in this kind of situation). But take over people's belonging is not better than that.

BARU ENGEH

Ngga malam-malam amat sih, cuma habis maghrib. Pas ngurus taxi yg jemput dsb, si pengirim taxi dari kantor mau kirim 2 taxi. Lah, ngapain nih orang, cari duit banget. Orangnya cuma 4 kok pake taxi sampe harus 2. Lalu sekuriti kantor negesin, you have to, it's a matter of security.

Jadi mau cari2 info. Soalnya sekolah sampe diliburin segala loh... Waktu lg cari info ketemulah ini. KAlo males jalan2 isinya antara lain ini:

The road between Maiquetía Airport and Caracas is known to be particularly dangerous. Visitors traveling this route at night have been kidnapped and held captive for ransom in roadside huts that line the highway. Because of the frequency of robberies at gunpoint, travelers are encouraged to arrive and depart only during daylight hours. If not, travelers should use extra care both within and outside the airport. The embassy strongly advises that all arriving passengers make advance plans for transportation from the airport to their place of lodging. If possible, travelers should arrange to be picked up at the airport by someone who is known to them or at least try to caravan in known groups en route to Caracas. Travelers should be aware of chokepoints inside tunnels and avoid obstacles in the road.

Hwarakadah...Sejujurly, pas pertama kali sampe Caracas memang suasananya serem. In a way rasanya auranya gelap *ha?.. Pokoknya ngga enak deh. Trus jalannya meni gelaaaaap pisan. Lampunya dikit, mana lampu pijar lagi. Lengang, tp mencekam. Takut aja ada yg ngedeketin trus ngoceh Spanish trus macem2. Inget banget pas nyampe airport suami cuma bilang, tutup mulut, gandeng anak2, ngga usah dengerin kalo ada yg manggil2/nawarin porter, taxi, dll. Jalan terus seperti kita dah 100x ke sini. Pokoknya tujuan kita travel agent yg warnanya orange itu. Ngga taunya emang bener2 bahaya, sih. Alhamdulillah, so far Allah SWT masih melindungi kita. Tapi waspada selalu itu wajib hukumnya.

Aneh banget ya. GDP per kapita negara ini hampir 3x lipat Indonesia. Tapi inflasinya luar biasa, annual growthnya juga negatif. Padahal produksi minyak jalan terus, malah nemu sumber2 baru. Jadi sebenernya salah di mana...ya...
